So on my own end-of-year favourite albums list I mentioned the Scottish Bloggers and Music Sites award, which my fellow blogger Peenko organises and awards each year. The award is gained via consensus from the writers asked, and the top ten is worked out (I presume) by aggregating the scores given by everyone involved.
My end of year list is here. Peenko’s blogpost on the award is here though the final list is below:
10-8. Moth & The Mirror – Honestly, This World // PJ Harvey – Let England Shake // FOUND – Factorycraft
7-6. Conquering Animal Sound – Kammerspiel // The Son(s) – The Son(s)
5. King Creosote & Jon Hopkins – Diamond Mine
4-3. Mike Nisbet – Vagrant // Bon Iver – Bon Iver
2. Adam Stafford – Build A Harbour Immediately
1. Bill Wells & Aidan Moffat – Everything’s Getting Older. There’s an interview with the winners, done just before they went on stage; it’s on the same post as the main list. Take a look!

Bear in mind I was picking strictly Scottish (Scotch) artists. Here are the albums I nominated:

Douglas Firs – Happy As A Windless Flag, Edinburgh School for The Deaf – New Youth Bible, The Stormy Seas – Of Rust And Loss.
