Lucky Dip #9

I’ve done a new Lucky Dip! You’re welcome, you lucky things.

The Counter Culture are an Edinburgh-based lo-fi/psychedelic music project, who release their debut EP Lost in the Underground today. They’ve a comprehensive set of YouTube videos, Flickr shots and a whole website. Clearly they’re very organised.

Jack James, the Glaswegian songwriter whose third album we enjoyed so much is releasing a fourth LP in February. To celebrate this fact he’s popped a teaser track online, which can be found right here. If you want to check out the rest of his back catalogue, then look no further.

I know you like variety, so here’s How The Constellations Shine, a Portuguese post-rock outfit who’ve released a new compilation album made up from recordings of the last seven years of the band’s existence.

  1. We are indeed lucky things. Thanks Dauphin Mag for mentioning us – we’re honoured.
