Grassmarket Festival

So I was at the Grassmarket Festival last weekend and these are the photos my partner in crime took on the Sunday, taken from our sun-warmed spot on the cobbles. If you want to see it in fullscreen – the photos are mega high resolution, so it’s reccomended – then click on the drop-down menu on the player.

The bands featured were the enigmatic The Banjo Lounge 4, the unexpectedly loud and enjoyably excellent Edinburgh School For The Deaf (who were stopped before the end of their set) and the terrifcally numerous Second Hand Marching Band, who were brilliant because they held a dancing competition and played in the midst of the audience. The stage was hosted by Avalanche Records.
