Jesus H. Foxx are one of Edinburgh’s few really inventive indie bands, and they don’t get the press they deserve. Two things, therefore, need to be brought to your attention. Firstly, the band are playing Henderson’s at St John’s on the 29th of June, with support from Battery Face – a while off, but make a note in your diary. The second thing you need to know relates to the first, because the aforementioned concert is the launch of their debut album, Endless Knocking, and it’s really, really great.
Video Games
Pokémon was probably the best game ever, with a totally unpredictable storyline and savage duels, it was also accompanied by a wicked soundtrack. This isn’t a post about video game soundtracks though, nor is it about Lana Del Ray – her music only ever provokes mild indifference within me. It’s actually about the music I listen when I’m playing video games.
