Gerry Loves Records have released a mini album on cassette tape! It’s also available digitally, but do play along. The ten-track album is split halfway between Field Mouse and one of my favourite electro artists, The Japanese War Effort. It’s streamed below.
…in small packages. Well this one came in a relatively small package (it fit through the letterbox). It’s my 7” Japanese War Effort EP Surrender to Summer!
Below is the packet of rock I got with the EP (delicious generic sweetie flavour!).
There’s the record sleeve itself, and the lovely postcard I got with it from Matthew at Song By Toad (this is the sort of service I could get used to). And there’s the clear record itself, in all its glory; on the floor, to show just how see-through it really is, and on my turntable.
Finally, here’s one of the unwrapped sweeties just before I ate it.
The Japanese War Effort have released a new EP, and what’s more, Song By Toad are chirping happily all about it because it’s being released on clear vinyl. Which is so cool I thought I’d buy me one and have it posted all the way from Glasgow. And there’s a video for one of the songs, so here it is.
