I’m back, with more bands to highlight, more music videos to embed and many more emails to reply to. I hope you all had a good Hogmanay and enjoyed the fire procession in the Capital, even though it was damned cold. Let us begin in earnest, by looking over the things I missed over the break.

Today’s Song of the Day is This Great Generation! by The Douglas Firs. I’ve written before about my fondness for archive footage music videos, and this is no exception. The video appears to be of people undergoing some sort of major religious experience – fitting, since the upcoming album is themed around witchcraft.
