Today’s Song of the Day is Barcelona by The Great Wilderness. I haven’t done the home-video thing in a while but I couldn’t even find a SoundCloud player for this band: I only know about them because I picked up a promo copy of a six-track EP, Tiny Monsters for about 50p at Vinyl Exchange back in Easter. I don’t know what year it’s from, what city it’s from, nothing.

Just thinking about the post I did a few days ago about that band The Great Wilderness that I couldn’t find anything about. Turns out a). I’m really bad at internet searches and b). they’re from Costa Rica. Costa goddamn Rica! San José to be exact.
Their bandcamp and first album is right here, though they’re working on their third. And they have a blog. And there’s an interview with them here. So I guess I need to take more time to research next time.
Oh and for anyone reading this on a computer in Manchester, they’re playing at Night & Day on 13 November.
